After applying the rubbing compound
It is clearly shiny. Considering that the clear coat hasnt cured completely yet, the result is awesome

First layer on head stock
The first layer does not look too good as it functions as a primer. The reason I didn't use real primer is the color difference which, because this will be painted on the front of the headstock, may be apparent as a thin layer of white on the side of the headstock
The sandpaper marks are clearly visible in this layer:

Filling dents
I used cyanoacrylate glue to fill some bumps in the wood as it is clear and can be sanded.
The unfortunate dent on the body was made when I carried it unside the house and it hit a wall :/
Ps: metallic colors do not sand well

Primed and sanded
I used a 600 grid dry sand paper to make it silky smooth and prepare it for the main color paint.
Some paint runs removed and a small bump filled with wood cement
